Could it be differences in sewing machines?

I have not used their thread and am just wondering. I have a Baby Lock and have a lot of lint from all my threads used (name brand, "good" quality).
No more lint than I get from Gutermann or Mettler cotton. The Essential Threads are 50 wt/3 ply. You can't compare them to Aurifil or Superior which are 50 wt/2 ply and will obviously be finer threads.

I especially like to ET in my bobbin when quilting with King Tut to match my backing. There are more colors to choose from than any of my LQS have in stock in coton threads.

I also use it for piecing larger blocks. However, if I'm doing crumbs or log cabins, blocks with lots of seams, then I use YLI, Masterpiece or Auriful.
Thanks for the info krisgray! So much info to learn about threads and fabrics, etc.!!!!!!!

I have ordered from them-yes the fabric is a little different than say Moda or RJ but I still like them. The thread is good quality.I'm not complaining.

As someone else said, if you are unsure, order the charm pack to check the fabric. I've used their batiks and lots of their kits and I've not been disappointed.

Have any of you used their Essential Pro on your long arm? I normally use King Tut with Bottom Line in the bobbin, but the CT Pro is so much cheaper, I'm tempted to try it.

I just received an order of charm packs and 2 1/2 strips. Very disappointed. The fabric is thin and the color was not the same as shown on their site. We'll re-think before I buy again.

That is odd. I just received my order yesterday and as usual the fabric is substantial and smooth. I bought the 30's prints and a couple of other tiny prints. Which ones did you buy?
