    I made a tumbler using a ruler. Quick cutting. No templates. I put a tutorial on my blog. SistersandQuilters.blogspot.com
    Cutting the tumblers in a strip really wastes little fabric. I thought that was the fastest. You can cut them from a charm pack but there is more waste. I like the 5 inch tumbler - great size! Sews up fast. I joined the tumblers like the Camille Roskelly pattern for a baby quilt. I am going to make another one.

    I love the blue and brown combination in your quilt. They work perfectly! I may try a tumbler using Camille Roskelly pattern also.
