Time spent quilting.

Never enough time! I am a stay at home mom of 4. While I don't home school my two middle kids come home for lunch. I have a garden, I am trying to get crops in and can. We process our own meat too. Last week my husband got an elk so I spent all day for two days cutting meat so we could process at night. I always say, I just want to quilt! I allow myself to quilt most days during nap time. I get about one hour free time at that time.

This last week I spent about 3-4 hours quilting. Prior to that, it had been nearly 2 months since I had sat down and sewed. Prior to that, I was lucky to sew about 4-8 hours per month (had a standing Saturday sewing date with a GF.) In other words... nowhere near enough!! ;)

I take whatever time I can get between jobs. I do house cleaning on Fridays. Do the wash on the weekends and try to cook healthy meals everyday. I find that being away from my quilting make Momma a bit cranky. A cranky Momma is not a good thing!

I do not have to go to the Library on Weds, so on that day I spend right much time cutting out pieces and designing quilts. The other days I stay busy with housework, helping husband with meds and doing chores. I do sew at night for awhile until I get tired, that way I keep mistakes to a miniumn.
