I have a Bernina 440EQ (just bought last month) and a Brother Pacesetter 1000. I totally do not recommend the Brother. It is not at all suitable for quilting and I regret buying it, but it is good for piecing or other types of sewing. I plan to sell my Brother in future, but for now, it will be my machine for piecing classes.

I have a Viking Lily 550 and a Baby Lock serger. I rarely use the serger anymore. I used it a lot when the granddaughters were toddlers making them little dresses and summer shorts. I just don't do any "clothes" sewing anymore so I use the Viking for everything. I have had my Viking for about 12 years and not one problem with it.

Let's see....I started out with a Singer Curvy, then Brother Cs6000i, Janome 6600, FW 221, Brother SE 400 embroidery, Brother PE 770 for embroidery, and just got the Quattro 2. Oh, also have a Brother XL 2600i, bought for my little GS who quickly lost interest in sewing because I wouldn't let him take it apart!

I have a Bernina 1130 (my very best friend), Babylock Imagine, Singer Featherweight, Pfaff 7550 and Bernette serger (inherited from my mother), Nolting Fun Quilter (which I hope to trade up to an Avante or Innovi midarm somtime in the near future).

Shabby Tabby, I have a Bernina surger, if you make shopping bags or purses it is a neat thing to finish the edges if they are quilted, I made one yesterday , finished the edges with the surger then bound it with bias tape, quick and easy :P

HV Huskylock 910,HV Sapphire 875Q,Pfaffs 2040 & 1222E,Bernina 1031, Singers: 237,15-90,66 redeye,201K(treadles),4 Featherweights and two black 301s, 99K handcrank and a Janome Jem Gold 2. For a total of 17. I cycle through them and use all of them. The last quilt I finished used 4 machines.
