It's very sad that he died so young. I'm never without my iPod and wonder what kind of technology the future would have brought to us all had he survived? My heart goes out to his family.

So sad. We need all the creative thinkers we can get right now.

I still have my first computer, that Macintosh 512 that he brought out in the early 1980s, and also still have that big blue half egg Macintosh, both still working. I'm now working on a late Mac, tried that horrid Windows program on a Windows computer but that Vista was a pain where I sit and soon went back to my lovely Macintosh computers.

Rest in peace, Steve Jobs, you made my life much more interesting!!

His passing has saddened me as well, even though it was probably evident he was not going to be with us much longer due to his failing healty, it is still a shock. What a great creative mind he had. How lucky those that worked under him and felt his desire for life and achievement!

I am curious? Why do you hate MACs? They are so user friendly?

My DH got notified on his iPad last night. Says it's because he subscribes to MacWorld magazine. We were both shocked, how sad, & what a loss! He will definitely be missed!...
