New Castle, DE is one of my favorite places! Lovely little town with great layout, brick sidewalks, lots of history. Before bridges, travelers crossed the Delaware River here, and patriots made their way from New England to Washington along this route.

Great needlepoint store, too, and Oak Knoll Books for book lovers and collectors.

We always make the 2 mile detour from the Delaware Memorial Bridge into New Castle just for the pleasure of another visit!

Ohmigosh, I thought I had a great collection of CW era repros, but in 86 fabrics, I only see two that I know for sure are in my stash! How wonderful! :)
