Oh to be in such good company--it is a blessing!

When contemplating a project thou shouldest put purchased fabric and pattern in a bag, lest thou forget and use too much of the focus fabric on a different project--never to be able to purchase more.

Thou shall not press with the Press-N-Cut board in your lap while watching a movie...If you do...Thou shall not set the iron on it...If you do Thou SHALL not tilt said board so that the iron lands on your left hand! I did this Sunday!

LOL Love #4. I've broken way to many needles the last couple months because I didn't change my foot.

About the thread pulling out of the needle, I had been sewing for many years (and pulling a long thread out so it wouldn't pull out). One day I was looking up something in the manual and lo and behold! I found that if you Keep the take-up bar at the top, it will not pull the thread out when you start sewing! Now when I finish a seam, I just hold the thread and make sure the take-up bar is at the top. So simple I had missed it all those years.

Well, the up side is, if you don't have thread in the bobbin or the needle, you can't end up with nests or eyelashes when quilting. :):):)

Also not a bad idea to check yourself over when you see that the company is arriving! Friends came over yesterday for dinner. My husband pulled one thread off of me, and the wife of the company couple pulled another one!

Thanks for the laughs...

Yes, I've done all of these, with the exception of ironing in my lap!
