This is sort of what I thought when I saw it. It looked like a pattern that I had seen before maybe one in a newspaper .
Iv'e got a recently handmade quilt of that same group of patterns, The ladies who made it said the patterns for the flower basket are very old. If that color is a soft, little bit grayish green, like feedsacks, it could have been made in the 30s-40s. Turquoise became popular in the 50s.

How gorgeous! I am not a basket-quilt lover, per se, but with all of the aqua and white....and the variances in the flowers and leaves, this is one of the most beautiful quilts I've ever seen!

How beautiful! I bet the pattern came from Mountain Mist, in case you didn't know that was a batting that always had a pattern on the outside paper. I have a couple my aunt gave me.

The quilt top is beautiful. Someone put a lot of work and love into it. I hope you will finish the quilt, then use and enjoy it.
