It is simply gorgeous! You could use it as the center of a quilt if you are tired of doing more. I do like the broken up part of it with the muslin. Good luck with this huge undertaking!

Thank you all so much for your kind words and input! I will be sure to post photo when finished but fore warning it will be quite a while. I will put it on this thread, though. :). For a King size, it takes 144 (9" finished fold/sew) blocks. I have only done 24 thus far. A bit daunting when I look at the numbers, lol. It is all being done completely by hand being my machine and I aren't getting along. It will be 12 blocks across by 12 down.... I am working in 4 block units for ease of handling. Doesn't seem as daunting knowing I only have to do 36 units in all. :). Your wonderful encouragement has helped tremendously to convince me to carry on. Thank you!!! A friend of mine has started one at the same time so we keep up with each other not allowing one to surpass the other, lol.

That is absolutely beautiful!!! The muslin pieces sets your cw apart from all of the rest. This might inspire me to get that ufo out and look at it again..........thanks
