I'm in NW Arkansas. Never been to a Retreat, am terribly self-conscious, am a quilter but not pro. Could I come and just watch or maybe bring my Catherdral Window pieces? Not sure what goes on as far as classes and such. Could you keep me in mind? Thanks loads.

Hey Sybil! None of us are pros - I don't think.
I'm not talking about any formal classes. I'm talking about a time for us to get together, sew a little, giggle a lot, eat when the mood hits us & not be pressured to do anything.
You will fit right in!
If you really want to come, PM me.

I am quite interested right now - but it DOES depend on health issues and the weather. You know another option might be Gastons Resort..

where is gastons resort? I don't think I've run across it while researching this retreat thing.

OK I found this one: http://www.gastons.com/
Is that the one you're talking about?
I didn't see any pics of the cottages or the rates or anything. Do you know anything about it?

its there - just look at the top of the opening page and click on rates and views of cabins. You may want to check out the restaurant too - yum yum

those cost way more than I'm wanting to pay!

I don't think this retreat thing is gonna pan out this year. and maybe not next year either.
I've got a little money right now, may not have any next year. LOL

I agree with seesaw2mch. I am alone at least 80% of the time. Even a day trip sounds like fun with like-minded people. Wish I lived near any of you.
