Oh...I LOVE it. Beautiful bright colors too.

I've put the first and only one I made on the back burner for now. Still clipping seams...lol. Too many other things I want to make and finish at the moment. I promised myself after Christmas I will finish it.

I'm not a sewer nor a quilter so if I can do this anyone can.

I'm self teaching myself to sew.

The first rag quilt I made (doll one for GD) was awful looking IMHO. The second one was much better. Now this scrappy rag came out even better but than I love bright colors mixed in.

It is more work sewing scraps first, than cutting it using the Go Rag die, and than sewing it again into a rag quilt but was well worth it. I am very pleased and pleasantly surprised at how it turned out.

I forgot to mention that I wanted to also sew a decorative design on each scrappy square but it did not work well with the batting in between. It pulled it a bit through the back so ditched that idea.

Really nice use of your scraps, the quilt looks great.

I've also made rags quilts using regular cotton fabrics, they don't fuzz up as the flannel ones do but they are nice and light and comfy. Like your idea of using scraps to make the blocks in the front - I have plenty of scraps and love it that these quilts don't need to be sandwiched and quilted.

How much fun was that! So bright, cheerful and obviously will be loved by some one for sure. Great job in using up those gorgeous leftovers.

That looks so cozy makes me want to borrow it right now since I am laying on the couch with a head cold. It is very pretty too, I love bright colors and batiks.
