Nice to see someone from Alaska. Only place I would love to go see. I'm very happy with my home area near a big lake in Northern CA and don't have the desire to go on crusises. I would love to go to ALaska though. I love seeing pictures of that beautiful country. Doubt I will ever be able to go there but I will keep the wish.
Keep enjoying your sewing.

Hello Nancy, I'm a Nancy too. Welcome from the foothills of the Sierras. We visited your part of the world in 07 by flying to Anchorage in May and renting a car. We had a memorable time. Perhaps one day we will return. Enjoy this board, I have learned lots here.

Welcome from AZ in the lower 48. Spent two weeks there visiting niece and nephew who had lived there for years and years. My DH got his #4 in the world Kodiak bear there in the 80s.

Hi and welcome from Louisiana. I loved every momentI spent in Alaska during my husband's 2 tours of military duty there. Actually, I made my first quilt ever while there - a fussy cut Alphabet Bear quilt. Nothing compares with the pristine beauty of Alaska.
