I am not a person who likes hand work so I always do my binding by machine, I really am anxious to finish it so I can start another

Binding??? I call it )&^&^*&()*(_) and avoid it as often as possible...LOL...I tried the handsewing method and said to heck with this and all get done by machine, one way or another....

Me too. I really enjoy it, I wish I had a long armer close that I could exchange doing the binding for her and she could do some quilting for me. That would be a dream exchange. I can't get it right doing it all on the machine, I machine it and flip it to the ack and hand whip stitch.

I like to do the binding by hand as well. I find it relaxes me. When I am done with it the quilt is also done.

I would rather do binding than any other part of quilting. I'm good at that part! The rest, not so much, but I keep trying.

Do the binding is also my favorite part. It gives me a real connection to the quilt.

I don't mind binding but my sister loves binding. She was visiting this weekend and asked me if there was anything she could help with!!! Now my most recent quilts are bound!
