I love my GPS. A very basic model. The reason I got it? For garage sales! I got tired of looking everything up on line and printing out directions. Now I just enter addresses and off I go. Of course it is useful for other events too.

During road construction in my area my Tom Tom lady was quite insistent that I take a right hand turn right off a bridge LOL
Hmmm wonder if DH programed her for that?

When we were visiting Western Australia, we used our sons car with a GPS he had downloaded Ossie Osborne to give the driving instructions.
We had such a laugh,if you know OO you will know what I mean

They are wonderful. Have been afraid to drive anywhere but decided I wanted to visit the grandchildren in northern IL. So I did it with the enormous help of the GPS!!!

They can be wonderful, but heard some bad stories about them too. We have the Garmin. One needs to use common sense also.

Wasn't Ozzy the one that had to call his wife because he was lost in his own house and couldn't find the bathroom?

My husband tends to argue with the GPS. There's times I've wanted to pitch it out the window (GPS not hubby)
