When I saw this post I got so excited....I have too many sewing machines and would like to trade at least one for something I might need....but my stars, don't think I need that ! I do need a decent sewing chair...but think I'll just make do with what I have ! WOW !

My grandmother had a chair on her front porch with horse hair (yes horse) on the "upholstery" area. We all loved to sit in that chair. I think they are VERY old--over 100 years---and to have a set!! (My grandmother died in 1989 at 97 years old).....perhaps they are closer to 150 years old......?

Reminds me of the horse hair set my Grandma had, they were pickie..........but the wood was teak and lots of detail...........
