I met my husband at my job while in high school. He had just come home from the Air Force. We dated and he told me something he did with a friend that I knew. My husband did not know I knew his friend until I asked him if his friend was Doug Parker and he said How do you know? I replied that Doug was my uncle and that explained how the watermelons got into the family when I was a child. We got married in Jan 18 1975 so this Jan. will be 37 years for us.
