My first marriage would have been 38 years last week. (October 13th). However, he died when we had been married 33 years, of cancer when we were both 54 years old. I remarried 3 years ago to a man who had been married for 38 years when his wife also died of cancer. We like to think that our first spouses arranged for us to get together from heaven.

It will be 41 years in February. Knowing him has made me a better person.

On Nov. 14 my DH and I will celebrate our 47th anniversary. The only arguments we seem to have (ha...ha...) is over which one of us was the luckiest in finding the perfect spouse. I know I win that one hands down!
