If you google quilting retreats in KY, you will find several places that offer retreats for quilters. One is in the Paducah area, actually at Marion, and there is also another place in the Louisville area.

You can also find great places at the state parks sometimes too. I was just in a quilt shop in North Vernon, IN. They were talking about a quilt retreat they hold at Clifty Falls State Park for 80 people. That's a lot of people to be able to sew and still have elbow room. Plus to have rooms to spend the night! This time of year, the state parks are not usually busy and would probably work a deal for you. I know in Kentucky, teachers get discounts, so you might be able to negotiate a good one!! Good Luck! I'm going to one at Pieceful Haven next May. That's an awesome place and they actually have TWO houses for retreats. Their calendar is online too!
