I have the same kind of table. Mine is on empty coffee cans. It works and didn't cost anything extra.

This is what my Linus group does, but tables are still a bit low for my back, as I learned after working on them, so for my own I made my 1 1/2" diameter PVC pieces 15" long instead of the 11" they used. I'd found the bed risers at WalMart, but they are way too short for me, and $8 for only 2.

I use the extenders with a 6" folding table I got on sale at Target; with the longer legs it fits perfectly over the top of my guest room double bed, so I now have an actual cutting area, 37" high, with a handy temporary set-stuff place underneath, on the bed. My back SO appreciates the higher surface.

Table is also known as the kitty play area, as two head in there as soon as I turn the light on--they think I set this up just for their pleasure!

Got the PVC cut for free at Home Depot when I bought it; one 10' pipe length makes 8 legs, cost under $5, plus $3.50 for four end caps.
