This was the one time we couldn't scold her-after the initial shock of what just happened, it took too long to wear off and remind her of what she did. I wouldn't know how to explain to a dog not to run into the walls, anyway.

I love this topic. I adopted a Great Dane and a Rottweiler mix about 5 years ago. The Dane had been in a puppy mill making babies as fast as she could put them out. She is a wonderful dog but suffered from separation anxiety every time I left the house. She chose pillows too. I lost 4 fiberfill bed pillows over time because I forgot to close a bedroom door. She is nearly 9 now and still thinks she is a puppy. The Rottie mix had to have $5000 worth of ACL surgery last Thanksgiving from their ramming around the back yard.

My boxer I used to have discovered a bean bag cushion.....those pellets stayed around for years and never did get them all cleaned out of the house. They usually start settling down by age 4.

Sounds like every boxer our family has ever had. At about 2 years, the "puppy" turns into a dog !

Is she a "counter surfer?" Seeing her look at the pie made
me wonder.

Sounds like Hemi when he spots the cats & barrels thru the house or yard. He went thru a barb wire fence last evening, but no injury!

Aren't boxers just the greatest? Even they are the idiots of the dog world, we would not have anything else. Those little faces looking at you, even after they have done something naughty. We have replaced the handle of the outside door three times because our white one keeps opening the door herself. She is our fourth and we just love them to death. I have always said "they are like Lays potato chips, you can't just have one." Our fawn is 3 1/2 and the white is 3. You'd think they were six months old. It takes a long time for them to mature enough to settle down. I still carry my six year old grandson to the kitchen table because they love him so much they want to kiss him.

So we have a "bad cat" thread...looks like we need a "bad dog" one! I have a feeling you could supply us with lots of laughs from your baby.
