I don't want to offend anyone, but I think the Fairy Godmother quilts are creepy :?

That's how I feel too, dd.

I don't like cheater quilts, panel quilts or quilts with fabrics other than cotton or flannel, but I hear there are some fantastic wool quilts out there. I don't like old quilts at auctions that smell like somebody rolled up and slept in them for 50 years without changing their long underwear either.. lol

Anything antique makes me sad because the people who enjoyed them are long gone. Even old houses make me feel they are like a puppy who lost its master.

I abhor yo-yos. I do not care for Sunbonnet Sue and I have no real love for Dresden Plates. But I have yet to meet a quilt pattern that gave me the CREEPS. Funny word to describe it. I think the reason I dislike Sue and Dresden is the 30's fabrics - I don't care for them as a whole. Again, still not creepy though!!!

The ones I see in shows that celebrate the Mexican Holiday for Death. I just have a hard time with dead people and skeletons on the quilts. (No insult intended to Mexican people who celebrate this holiday)
