Welcome. I can't help you because I can't remember, but I used a Kenmore for many years and loved it.

The one I had I bought new in 1974, top of the line. That was back when Vikings were selling for over 900.00 bucks and I couldn't see paying that much for a sewing machine.lol Turned out my Kenmore was a great machine so I did well I would say. :D

I believe it would.I couldn't believe it ,the first time I sewed on it.I thought I had died and gone to heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never had such a nice machine and so quiet.Do you know what year ours machines are made in?? And thanks Mary

I beleive it would.The first time I sewed on it,I thought I have died and gone to heaven.So quiet,such nice strong stitches.Now that I have been spoiled for a whole week,I can never go back to a new machine.Do you happen to know what year our machines were made? Thanks mary

My husband just picked up ANOTHER one of these fine machines for $25, in a cabinet. He's in another city on business and I found it on CL. There is just no market for them in NY.
