Beautiful memory for him....I too hope he comes back to you. I know one family that it took many years but their foster son came back to see them and thank them!

He's blessed to have you in his life. As a retired teacher, I know what a difference love and a caring person can make! He WILL come back to you some day. In the meantime, try to keep in contact with him as much as possible.

Very nice. I am sure at one time he will come to you, maybe as an adult. But he knows your love and that will stay with him for life. :thumbup:

Ok you had the tears coming when you said he brought a well loved elmo back...and now a quilt of love....you are so special and that little boy is so lucky to have someone like you that has him in your heart. God Bless

He's already came back once, he will come back again. You have left an imprint on this little guy, that should make you very proud. It takes a very special person to make an impression on someone, and obviously you have done that. It's heartwarming to read stories like this. Who knows, you may be making quilts for his children one day.
