We were stationed in Hawaii in the 1960's and lived in a motel near the zoo, then lived in a rental house on a hill all before housing became available. Left there in 1968 and fondly remember all we saw and did over there. Thanks for sharing the photo.

My nephew and his wife have been in Hawaiia for three years. He is with the navy. They have loved their time there but looking forward to getting back closer to home when he and Mother Navy part company in December. Hope you enjoy your time there!

Loved that stadium and the flea market. Hope it's still there. Got some fantastic deals.

When my daughter was there we stayed at the Hale Koa. Are you anywhere near there?

Watch the sun on that beach. It is so easy to get burned if you're not careful. Ask me how I know

We are on the other side of the island at schofield barracks! And I learned all too well about the sun last weekend lol. I didn't get burnt very bad but enough to stay off the beach for a few days lol. And that was with sunscreen! Reapply reapply reapply :)
