I would love to do another one, but I'm disconnecting my internet service next year. So I won't be able to put up the monthly messages.

Ah shame. :-)

I have really appreciated you doing this. It's been fun to do and it has lastingly changed the way I approach buying fabric (and other art supplies), which is just great.

Several years ago, before I started quilting, I made my youngest son boxers and now he prefers them to the store bought variety. The LQS had a 50% off sale on their remnants and selected bolts. I got 4 pieces to make him some boxers for Christmas, of course, I did fun fabrics. The scraps from these will go in my scrap stash. (I could probably make him an entire lap quilt from the scraps of his boxers from over the years, if I haven't already used them.) I also bought a bag pattern for my youngest daughter for a Christmas gift. I should be able to use my stash for that.

No thank you. I'd lose my membership in a week anyway. LOL

I will start a new thread for a Fabric Moratorium In January that will run for just 6 months. Depending on how it goes I'll see if I will do it longer.
I think for now, all of us probably have things to get for Holiday gifts, whichever holiday we celebrate.

I've never officially joined in this moratorium, but I have tried to not buy any more fabric and use up what I have. However, I did just buy 2 antique treadle sewing machines, so I'm not really ahead of the game. I've just upped the ante. :?

Wow! There is a wonderful Quilt Shop in Albq. Sorry to tempt you, but evidently you have lots of willpower.
