Sometimes I don't comment because I'm just re-fueling my mind. Thanks for the free fuel.

I love this place too. Of course, I would get more piecing done if I didn't love it so much. :D
Isn't that the truth! But if I didn't come to the board, I wouldn't have learned so much from all of you.
    Thanks to you all!

This really is a GREAT quilters community! My ex-hub hated my internet use. He actually thought the internet was just full of porn, lowlifes and virus'. I told him that you GET EXACTLY what you look for on the internet.

I used to work late at our local hospital. I'd often get home at midnight. Some people went out after work for drinks and partying Not me.. I'd come home to my faithful dogs...cozy home...and surf my quilting, gardening, cooking, craft websites to unwind. I loved it.

For me.. the internet is like the LIBRARY (full of friends) that NEVER closes. What more could you ask for?

What a nice post you wrote, love it! Having exes in my past, I can relate! Glad you are enjoying life now! So many of us don't have women friends living close by now, so boards like this, & internet friends, are really a lifeline to us all!

Thanks Nancy! That was also a sweet post back. I have found that not all quilter's boards are as friendly and warm as this place is. I don't hop on the internet to squabble or go to logger heads with someone who has a different opinion then I do. Variety is the spice of life! We can voice different opinions over something without turning into "dragons" when we do so.

I learned years ago that TYPING IN ALL CAPS does not make someone right. It just makes them appear LOUD and annoying. I occasionally type in caps when I'm very excited...but that's because I talk a lot with my hands... and my excited hand flappin' usually shows up in a post a CAPS. I was raised around a LOT of Italians...what can I say??

Same here - I don't always comment because I am afraid you guys will think that's all I have to do - but, I truly enjoy the posts, comments, pictures and help!

I don't post a lot, but I read this everyday. I started reading it months before I joined, it is my daily ritual now. Love it!

I make my coffee and oatmeal in the morning then settle in to read everything or almost everything on the Quilted Paadise Digest. My breakfat seams to go well while reading and looking at all the beautiful quilts and all the wonderful ideas to make. I just want to stay in my pjs and do nothing except sew. You all amaze me and because of you I have quilted two quilts in my 85 years and now working on making a twin quilt for myself. I just started quilting last year. I never saved the extra pieces but now I do and am going to do something with them A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO ALL to help this lonely widow have loads of friends.
