These arent the best of pictures but....
You can kind of see the joins are bumped up a little more than the rest of the seams. I quilted each row, then joined the rows

Thank you for the pictures. The back looks lovely as well. Great thought to quilt the rows than join it. This really is a beautiful job and quilt.

Melissa...thanks! I blew it up and can see the bumps...but did you use colored thread or is that battting only on the back...no backing fabric yet? I know there is a simple answer, maybe I really can't see!!! (eye appt. next week)...It looks great, but I'm not sure exactly what I see...:D

That is the backing fabric. I used colored thread to quilt on the appliques to give them detail.
Those pictures arent the best, I took them last night, so the flash doesnt really let you see the details. Your eyes probably arent as bad as you think!!!! :-D
