Kenmore 1966 - sentimental wedding gift! Upgraded last year to a Janome 6600 and love it! Now I have a Janome 300e (my first embroidery machine) and finding I don't have all the incredible colors of thread I need for even the designs that came in the machine! Those are expensive! I need to find a bargain on those somewhere!

I have many but use my Bernina 720 and 865, both have the embroidery with them. For traveling I use my featherweight. I love them all. My oldies are mostly for looking pleasure.

I recently purchased a Juki Exceed F600 and I absolutely love it. It has a beautiful straight stitch and also has tons of fancy stitches and buttonholes plus came with heaps of accessories including walking foot and quilting foot and large table. Before the Juki I had a Jenome 4000 which I just gave to my daughter.

I have a Bernina Aurora 450 with the embroidary model, cost about $3400 new. My husband had a cow when he saw the receipt but will admit now I use the machine more then he rides his motorcyle!! I love it, however I feel I have outgrown it and I'm looking to buy a used Bernina Artista 730 cost is about $3900, they will sew through anything. I used a Kenmore for about 25 years the only stitch it did was a straight stitch. I was working on a home dec project when it broke so I quickly got a Brother machine for about $200, it worked but I really struggled with getting all that fabric through it. You don't drive a Bernina it takes off on its own. Can't tell what a great decision it was for me. I've explored so many new sewing projects with the help and inspiration of my local Bernina dealer in Lake Mary FLorida, the shop is filled with beautiful things, tons of classes, good luck!

Bernina 1090, Elna quilter's dream, Featherweight, Mal's mini, Brother PR 600(embroidery machine), Bailey's 15" quilting on grace frame, singer red eye treadle, Brother ULT 2002, Singer 301(inherited not used yet), Babylock serger and a Babylock Sashiko . I use these but then have several collectibles that just sit and make me happy by sitting.

*I had a Singer 417 that was a great machine, beautiful stitch. One of my son's dropped it when we were moving and it was fatally wounded. I cried!

I currently have a Pfaff 7570 sewing/embroidery machine (which is a great machine) and recently purchased a Singer 403. Love my Pfaff but nothing does a straight stitch like the vintage machines.

I also have an old Singer from the 1940's that was my mothers. It's in a cabinet and sits in an unused bedroom and hasn't been used for about 40 years. I will have to drag that machine out and oil her up. My mother took good care of it and I now have a great appreciation for the vintage Singers.

Don't think I need any more machines right now. I've toyed with the idea of a long arm but where to put it is the problem.
