Howdy. Quilt something very small. Quilt something small. Study 'packaging' the big quilt and setting up your area. What's the worst that can happen? Stitches can be removed if needed. Just take your time.
A finished quilt, though imperfect, is way better than an unfinished top. Leonardo didn't start out with the Mona Lisa and Picasso didn't begin with Guernica.
