Vanilla frozen yogurt with a little pure maple syrup drizzled on top. Yum!

Many years ago we had my DH's Boy Scout group over for a home made ice cream making. The boys were acting silly, tossing around some boxes of candy Red Hots...okay, so was DH, the mature Scout Master!
I was tired and irritated and confiscated every darn box of those Red Hots and in a fit of anger dumped every darn one of the candies into the French Vanilla ice cream that was being churned.

It turned out DELICIOUS and every time after that we had ice cream, everyone begged for Red Hot flavor!! Even I liked it.

My "specialty" is:

vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
caramel sauce
chocolate sauce
walnuts
chocolate chips
and
a sprinkle of instant coffee

Yum!

I LOVE Jillbert's Black Cherry, but I can only get it in the U.P. (of Michigan). Probably a good thing, cuz I'd eat waaaay too much if it was readily available nearby.

2nd fave is Chocolate Almond Mocha. Yum. Now I'm craving Ice Cream.

Yuck! Ketchup on ice cream! No thanks! I like most all kinds, but I think my favorite is Neapolitan! I am a really chocolate lover tho, but some chocolates doesn't taste right! Wow! I wouldn't mind having some good ice cream now!

My mother in law when she was alive lived only 1-1/2 blocks from Jilberts in Marquette, MI...we had to get ice cream every time we went to visit...at least we worked off a few calories of it walking there and back.
