I have two Bernina's: QE 153 and the new 820. They are quality machines. Take your classes and have fun!

I just bought a 440QE so enjoy. I plan to do free motion quilting on it. Practice, Practice, Practice. I wouldn't own anything but a Bernina. This is my third one in 35 years.

Congratulations!!!! You are going to love the Bernina. I have a 1031 QE that is 16 years old and just got a new 440QE. I love them both. I must say though that my old one is ALL metal and simple stupid to maintain. Good luck!!!

I have had two Berninas. First, be sure to take the training, so you can utilize all the functions. Second, you will definitely like the bobbin signal, so you aren't attempting to quilt with an empty bobbin. Berninas are my absolute favorite - just a satisfied customer.

Just a word to all. Bought a singer. Like the machine. Then startted having problems. Was told to only use singer needles because there is a slight length difference in some. That is critical with singers. Dumb huh!!

Congrats on your new baby! I was like you....had 'settled' for a cheap new Kenmore machine, it lasted a year...no trade in or allowance towards a new Bernina, but they were on sale....had to do a layaway, but she's worth it! I love my Bernina....they truly are the best!
Blessings,
MaryAnna
