troy26.
This is just so I can keep my records straight. Let me know if you're on this list and have already sent.
I received 2 more blocks this week that I really love.
Moonrise sent me one with machine embroidery, which I always appreciate and jennifer22206 sent one a contrasting quilt fabric. Thank you both!

I am working on blocks today! I love those shoes! before I retired I had quite a collection, now I am down to a few favorites that I just can't part with! My Hubby is a shorty (3 inches shorter than my 5'9") so I don't wear them often... but boy do I love shoes~
So where does one find that pattern Mary?

well this way you can have all of the heels you want no matter how high. the magazine is quiltmaker's 100 blocks volume 2. the mag will need to be ordered from their website as it is an older edition. ok all, i expect to see plenty of shoe blocks in the very near future.
i ordered a shoe block quilt pattern also but cannot find the pattern right this minute. i know it's here somewhere.

Need alot of support from all my quilting friends. Today I received the worst news I have ever gotten My DH David has two primary cancers which is very rare. One is in the colon and the other is in the esophagus. They both started at the same time. Went to the doctors with stomach pain and heartburn. Had a colonoscopy and EGD and found out he has cancer in both places. Today we met with all the doctors and discussed treatment. They will take out the colon cancer next week, he will be in the hospital for 4-5 days. then he will need chemo and radiation for the esophageal cancer. If they can shrink the cancer they will be able to take it out. And he could beat both of these. It will be a long process but God will help us through it. I have to keep sewing to keep my mind off of this. Life just isn't fair. But at least we might be able to beat this killer.
Please keep David in all your prayers.
Carolyn
