OMG! I would report her to the mortgage brokers board, Better Business Bureau or wherever you need to. You contacted her on a business level, an acquaintance, and she violated professional ethics and boundaries, no matter how "desperate" she might appear be.

That would end any acknowledgments on my part. I would avoid her at all costs. Users never change.

HA!!! In her dreams!! Who does this person think she is? Steer clear of this witch, and if you do decide to sell, I'd avoid her like the plague ! Of all the nerve!

People do get desperate. I wouldn't lend her the money, either, but direct her to some community groups who may be able to help if she needs assistance.

I agree but she has violated professional ethics.....recommend that she get some help and then stay very far away from her. Tell her not to call you or your children ever again.

This is a great scam and I bet she makes a lot of money on people who are grieving. I would tell the police and see how to get her real estate license revoked also. - J

wow....can I have $5K LIttle Ms Money bags??

wow..that took some big ones...wow...

but then when you stop, listen, clear your head...you have to think, yes, it did take some big ones to make that call...and what could be so bad that she would ask? AFter all, $2,800 if not the price of a new car, she must be hurting but at the same time felt comfortable in asking you...perhaps if she opened up about what caused this phone call, you could help direct her on where to get the aid she must need!

must say,, if quilter's are all kind- hearted, loving souls...you could not prove it by reading the replies to this thread!
