Had 2 bunches of broccoli on hand so decided to dream up my own broccoli cheese soup. When I make soup, almost anything can end up in the pot. Added onions, celery, garlic, chix broth, cheese of course, and just a bit of cream. Yes, those crock pots do come in handy. I have a very small one that comes in handy when it's just me now. The big one is of course, for a crowd. Has been chilly here for a few days. Below freezing at night, but no snow----yet. Not predicted anyway, but some rain is.

Just said a prayer for you, your family and Brother...don't know names but the One who does is the One who'll hear those prayers.

I make that, but I put it in the oven. I also cut up the chicken. It is easier for leftovers.

I'm no where near the snow, but I'm mking chili tonight.
