Putting the border on a quilt as you go project. And about time too. Perfect weather for quilting.

I am stitching up the final Christmas table runner. Cut all the pieces on Wednesday, so I'm piecing it this weekend. All will be done by the 1st so I can spend November quilting them and making further acquaintance with my newly acquired Singer 66.

It's snowing here in NJ (ugh)...10" so far... this is crazy! I am going to work on a scarf to wear to my daughter's last few college soccer games this season. I'm using that raw edge applique technique to put on the mascot and her jersey #. Hope I can get it done before the power goes out!

I'm always torn between starting a new quilt or finishing some UFO's. This weekend I have to finish some UFO's, some for my girl friend to take up North to a gift shop to see if they will sell them, finishing the placemats and table runner I made her, plus several other tablerunners that I need to sandwich and quilt (that's the part I don't like), but I'm taking a QB break to check out pictures of all those beautiful quilts. Think the quilt police will turn me in?

Getting ready to move to a bigger house where my cutting table, sewing machine and ironing board can all be in the same room.
