No, but I remember using some of my Green Stamps to buy a set of dishes for my son when he was in college. Wonder what he ever did with those?

I remember the drinking glasses we got when my dad filled up the car at a local gas station. I also have some plates my grandmother got from the Wednesday matinee at the movie theater.

My 'GOOD' silverware was purchased with green stamps. And my Christmas goblets came with an Arby's meal and are green with gold trim. Makes for a pretty table when it is all set. Seasonings blessings

I remember when you got a dish towel in a box of soap detergent or a bowl in a cereal box. Saving green stamps to trade for merchandise. Those were the days!

I remember getting free dishes for going to the movies on a certain night. Being single I was trying to get them for my hope chest.

Duz detergent used to give you dishes in each box. The larger the box, the larger the piece. Coffee cups and sauces in small boxes - dinner plates in big boxes. My husband got his mother a whole set of good china from the bank before we were married. He got a piece with every minimum deposit into his savings account. He was living at home - did pay rent but did not have much else in the way of expenses. Managed to save quite a bit and my MIL got a real nice set of dishes
