There is a pattern called Faceted Jewels but I didn't use a pattern. I saw it on an Amish quilt site, fell in love, and since I thought it was an old classic I just figured it up in EQ.

Someone here pointed out that there is/was an easier way to put it together (I believe it is an old classic but I'm not totally sure). I had no instruction so I made the 12 large blocks and competed the design between them with sashing. I then did the border with the 1 3/4" squares.
