That's exactly what it is. The dresser was exactly the right size but too low so I had my son build a riser out of MDF and a 4x4 cut into blocks

I really love that this room is big enough I can have the ironing board out away from the wall. I used those "Hercules Hooks" and stuck them in the back and that's where most of my rulers are.

I recently completed moving my "studio" to a different room in my house. I have a longarm quilting machine and frame, so the room had to be organized to allow room to move around the frame. So, space was limited and so was my budget :))).
My nephew made a video for youtube. Here is the link:

Let me know what you think.

Since my sewing is scattered all over the house, no. I won't show you my sewing room. I have no designated space.

Total messiness here-given the choice to sew or tidy-sewing wins EVERY time!

I'm afraid I'd have to do more than "tidy up". My room is a converted double garage; and like a goldfish, I have grown to my surroundings!

First of all, you are never alone on the QB! And yes, I am ashamed to show my craft room to anybody. In a 12x12' room I have 3 bookshelves, Antique Treadle Machine, computer desk, cutting table, sewing table, ironing board, 4 roll-around plastic drawer units and 4 dogs. (ranging from 5 to 65 lbs.!) LOL That doesn't even mention the 6 projects and piles and boxes of fabric.
