Thank you to all you ladies.

Nancy, I recently joined the Plymouth County Cranberry Quilters, but due to some health issues haven't been to a meeting for a while. Hope to get there in November. Do you belong to a guild?

Hi,

No, I don't--the closest guild to me consists of people far more expert than I am and it's intimidating.

There is a small group at the Senior Center I go to--just started up again.

I look for people who quiilt for fun and like to get together periodically.

Nancy

Thanks Ladies!

Nancy, I thought I'd be intimidated by the guild too, but they are a nice group of people and I love when they have a trunk show. I did one of their mystery quilt workshops. They tell you how much fabric you need and give cutting instructions, then you don't know what it will look like until the workshop when everyone works on their own quilt. It was a baby quilt and it was for a hospital. I used winnie-the-poo fabric and co-ordinating colors and loved the way it came out. I've used the pattern for a couple more quilts that I've done. My daughter & I also joined the local Quilts for Kids group and have been making quilts for them. They meet every week and have bins of fabric we can chose from and batting to use too. Where in MA are you? I'm south of Boston. Between Boston and Plymouth.

QBeth,
LOL, no, but she was a stray. Came up to my daughter's back door and wanted in. I resisted at first but gave in and took her and I am so glad I did!
