    Are you threading the needle correctly?? If you are not threading it in the right direction (and not all machines thread front to back or right to left), so you might want to check it.

    I'm glad you found your problem! I cleaned 2 machines yesterday. One had the thread breaking issue. Everything checked out through the thread path and bobbin area. I found the problem while inserting the needle. The needle plate had a hairline crack in it causing the thread to snag and break. The owner was thrilled that was the only problem. Me too!
