Hey, does anyone know of a local quilt shop with small amounts of colored wool? I want to make some needle cases for gifts and dont want yards, just to be able to buy small peices....I wonder if anyone sells it like that?

Carrie Anne, there's wholesale shop in Elkhorn, don't think they do retail.It's called Ewe-nique creations. They have a website, Ewe-niquecreations.com.I know that they sell at quilt shows. You might also try Ben Franklin in Delavan or The Stitchery just south of Delavan. You could also use wool felt. Waiting to hear more details on get together!

Okkkk, so much for memory banks. Sheeze! Just found out that Janesville is 1 1/2 hours away! Over 61 miles. Guess I was thinking of some other place that direction. Will have to see if I can get someone to stay with my dad cause that is 3 hours of driving alone. Certainly want to meet ya'll but will have to see.

Aw, I really hope you can somehow make it! I understand about having to drive so far though, I dont have a very good car, so I dont go far either!
