Default Double Wedding Ring-What's the best pattern.

I would like to make a double wedding ring quilt. Probably a Cal King size or King. What is the best pattern for doing this. I would need a pattern with the easiest to use instructions (I get confused easily). Thank you for your help.

I just recently found a Great blog for making it... It is the Plaid Scottie... I do not have a link but I am sure you can google it.
there was a quilt along with Great pictures and the pattern is attached.. It is part pp. which I love... I have not started it yet but it is certainly on my todo list...
    Hope this helps.

Oh.. the King size.. you would need to make more rings to increase the size.. that is what I was planning to do... sorry about that

I am working on a double wedding ring quilt. Got it from Amazon.com It comes with all the templates and a booklet for directions on how to do it. There is also a video on youtube.com for directions on how to make it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...P21QE40WX09M25 Here the link on amazon. The book tells you the yardage for each size and the how many to make of each. It seems pretty thorough. I can see it is going to take me awhile, I've been chain sewing my little pieces together. THERE IS LOTS OF THEM! Here is the video with Charlene Jorgenson. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1DMYUtYbhs

I really liked "Rings that bind" but I can't remember the author, but you can google it. Her technique is done QAYG. So easy.

McCalls has the original Double Wedding Ring pattern on their website. Free and very easy to follow. Paper pieced.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will research these. I don't know how to paper piece. Maybe I can find someone to show me. I need a person to tutor me. I can't seem to get it by looking at pictures.

It is a big undertaking, but oh so worthy. I made mine from scraps about 30 years ago--tracing one piece and cutting out one piece at a time. I still love just looking at it and "remembering when".

Shar Jorgensen's with the templates...you strip piece and cut the arcs..really easy...and I matched it up to other templates..really close to the marti michell ones, but hers are not strip pieced!
