When we figure out how and get approval for a group area, please let me know (maybe put a link in here since i'm still a little lost lol) as I think it would be more enjoyable if we talked through what we are doing as we go.

This was my thought too. Way too much going on right now to start a new quilt especially since I have a new puppy too. But I love how she uses scraps to make these quilts ... and I surely do have plenty of those! Plus she is so precise in her directions with lots of photos to show the way. She is a great teacher and very sharing. Probably pick up on this after the New Year. Thanks for the heads up.

I have done several of Bonnie's mysteries. I love them. I have trouble picking colors though. Guess I better get to it. The time to start will be here before I know it. I really need to be thinking Christmas, but OH WELL!!!!!

Have you heard anything about making an official group for this mystery quilt as yet?

Yes, I have done Bonnie Hunter mysteries, she uses alot of small pieces, but the end result is always beautiful. Be sure to purchase the 2 rules mentioned on her introductory page:
    http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2011/...-orca-bay.html

Also it is very important that you print out the instructions to the mystery, as she will take them down after the mystery is over.

It will be fun to do and watch what other quilters have done with the same pattern.
    Have Fun.
