Default Printing too small

I can no longer easily read the board. So sorry, but I must not put myself through this kind of frustration. The screen only fills part of my monitor and the printing is not only small but I cannot see colors.

Default how to change how posts appear on your computer

I knew that if I kept plugging away, I would find something that I learned here, and could pass on to others. When you click on a category, such as pictures, scroll all the way to the bottom, and you will find 3 boxes. The first is 'THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS' and a drop down box, where you can chose how far back you want to see entries. The second is 'SORT THREADS BY' and this is where you want to put in 'start thread time' and the last box is order thread in ~~ and this is where you want DECENDING ORDER. That way, when you open the pictures or whatever category you open, you will have the newest threads at the top of the list. Once I post this, I am going back and hitting every category, and doing this, so I will always have the newest threads at the top. And not the ones with the newest posts, to threads that started 3 months or more ago. Good luck doing this to your pages.

I know how you feel, I can't get past the white background, it hurts my eyes to read the board.

Well, I went back and changed all of the categories, and then discovered that every time you visit a category, you have to do this change. I wish that it could be a permanent change. I will still use this method, so when I want to look at new posts, I don't have to hunt for them. I can make them come to the top of the page. Sorry for the wrong advice.

well i just tried something and it resulted in a non-white background. However, DON'T DO THIS: I went into Settings and changed the Display to MOBILE. That was the only other option. Unfortunately, the next page said something like "Sorry, this page is not displayable in Mobile mode." BUT when I clicked on "go back to home" after that, the background was pale yellow/ecru. There are other changes in the display that I don't like. BUT I can't access SETTINGS now to change back to regular.

If you want to 'permanently' change the order of the posts, you will find Thread Display Mode: in General Settings. Be sure to scroll to the bottom and save your changes after choosing the style you prefer.

In Firefox, on the browser menu on top, choose View/Zoom/Zoom Text Only. [IE does not have this same choice] this allows the typing to be a larger size without the screen/window having to be hugely wide on your screen. This works wonderfully for me. Hope it helps you too

Many thanks. Getting tired of reading or seeing the same posts over and over.
