Whole Foods prices are a bit high, but their meat department is the best. Great hamburger, chuck roast (for pot-roasting), and steaks. They also carry some canned goods that are hard to find at the regular grocery. Lastly, they have a great cheese section.

A lot of things are expensive, you have to know prices. But I always got the freshest fish there and bought when On Sale. Plus they are the only grocery store that sells the brand of cat food-Wellness-my cat eats. And the bakery has great bread and fancy sweets! Sadly I moved recently and miss my trips to the store. Happy hunting!!

They also have vitamins and supplements of better quality than you can buy most places. The closest one to us is just too far for regular visits, but when I am in the neighborhood ....
