    You got that right!
Give it a couple of days?? Hasn't it been a couple of days already? I haven't seen any difference since the first day I came back & it looked like this.
There's no reason for people to say the rest of us with problems with the 'new' forum should chill out or get our big girl panties on or whatever other goof ball thing it is they are saying. This thread is for saying what we don't like about the forum. If you don't have a problem with the forum, why are you here??

I have to agree with everyone else on that about the screen. I find myself having to leave the computer after about 15 min.- too hard on the eyes, but aside from that, everythings fine. We'll be use to it in a couple of weeks, if everyone has the nerve to stick around. The moderators have done a terrific job, and the designers who updated the page did a wonderful job.

This reminds me of all the other forums I have found that I didn't like. I liked everything about the old one.

I am of the old addage, " If it ain't broke don't fix it!" I think with so many things always changing in life, quilting is one of the farics of our life that represents the old fashioned good things that has remained. Our heiloom quilts are testament to that fact as each generation rolls along...I wish the folks on this quilting board would have realized we all came here because we liked the way the site was as compared to others. It had an easy, come in and sit awhile feel of a big quilting circle. I don't care for the new layout as it is not easy to navigate and I just plain like how the other site was. It is what it is, but it's not what it was...I don't hang out as much as I used to.

I agree totally... I liked looking at all of the pictures of quilts in one catagory. Where is that?

    I don’t like:
    1. the white background
    2. do not like the way the content is arranged
    3. cannot save bookmarks
    4. cannot find saved bookmarks
    5. really really miss the pictures section
    6. no ability to go to unread topics
    7. cannot figure out how to post a new topic.
    8. can’t tell what I have ready

the pictures are all in one place. click on home. scroll down and you'll see 'pictures'. click on that title and all the picture posts will be there.

i'm not crazy about this either, but some things are still there.
