I'm new to this site/board and to quilting as well. I come here everyday to browse around and see what's happening but I've never posted anything (till now.) I did as suggested and here is what I wrote:

I was at a quilting board today (and everyday for that matter) and they suggested that we all band together and send a plea to HGTV to 'bring back' your Quilting Shows... It certainly got my attention when I read that BECAUSE.. I didn't know HGTV ever had Quilting Shows!! I am just now at the age where I'm actually interested in Quilting! I have 2 grandchildren and another one on the way so I became quickly addicted to quilting!
I know for a fact that if you 'brought back' quilting shows, you would not only gain back 'old viewers' but lots of new ones as well!!
I hope you take this into great consideration.
Laurie

They have taken off every 'craft show' on DIY and HGTV. They have made a concerted effort to erase all the shows I loved, Simply Quilts, Carol Duvall show, The jewelry show (I can't remember the name of it), and so on! They orriganally changed the forum, HGTV to DIY, the DIY became a mirror of HGTV. I never watch either network any more.

I've sent HGTV a message and said that with over 20 million quilters in the U.S. I think it would be a wise business decision to bring some quilt shows back. Thanks for starting this.

Just contacted them. I ask them to return the quilting/sewing shows. I told them I could not afford to remodel my house or landscape my yard, but I CAN afford to sew!
