Default How can I post smilies again when I make comments?

When I make comments on different topics I enjoy using smilies, thump-ups, and etc to express how I am feeling. I no longer see a box on the board that has these to pick from. Does anyone know where it is or what you have to do to get these back?

if you are using Quick Reply, the smiley icon is 6th from the right above the box. click on it and another box opens to choose from. if you are using Go Advanced, the smiley box is already open for you to the right of the typing box.

It could be that your account isn't set up for it yet. This gets kind of complicated, so you might want to either print this out, or open up another browser window so you can open the directions in one window and change your account in the other.

Go to Settings at the very top right of the page.
Scroll down about halfway, look on the left side of the page where it says General Settings (under My Account). Click on that.
Scroll almost all the way to the bottom to where it says Miscellaneous Options. Change it to Enhanced Interface. Scroll to the bottom, click Save Changes.

Now when you use Quick Reply, all your options will be right at the top of the reply box.

hth!

If you can see the font and size options, then you can see the smilies, they're just to the right of the text color option, which is a large A. You should see one, just a simple smiley, and when you click on it, a box will pop up with other smiley options.

I followed your instructions Peckish. I did not get a large A but a tiny arrow beside size. I clicked it and the smileys came up. Thanks.

Thanks so much. I couldn't figure it out either, but your directions worked perfectly.
