YEP and YEP again on the crime in Memphis!!!! That's why we left Memphis. I was at the nail parlor when two masked men came in and robbed the salon...One of them had a gun to my head and was screaming.......They took my pocket book too... I have never been the same since!

Such a shame because Memphis is a very neat city with lots of good people living there.

Klassy Katz in Bartlett and Quilting Barn in Arlington,Tn.Both great shops. I am from Germantown,Tn but am living in Dallas area due to husband's job.

There is a quilt shop in Kingsport. I think it is called Quilting Heaven (not sure) ...
I think your quilt shop was "Somewhere Sewing...if it was, yeah I miss it too

I don't live there but my hubby's brother and his wife live in Maryville, TN. We are going down there to visit them the first week in December.

Hi Jeandrig! I just had to respond - was born in Oneida, lived in Helenwood, family in Knoxville still, and been living just south of Atlanta for last 30+ years. I would join you on that the mountain - sounds like heaven to me! Wonderful that Tennessee still has such a quilting heritage and so many to keep it going!!

Hi, Passionate Quilter, how are you doing? Seems like I never get a minute to spare. I'm going to Birmingham for a retreat next week and to D.C. for Thanksgiving. We will go to S Texas this year for the winter instead of FL. Good to hear from you.
