    Thank you everyone for your lovely compliments.

    Yes Chele, they are quilted. Once sandwiched, I did blanket stitch around the black leading...they went together easily and with the blanket stitching finished the edges and quilted it at the same time. :)

    gorgeous,(of course!) Did you use bias tape or whatever it's called? What is the name of this type of work?

    Celeste,

    These were done using a method called "Too Easy Stained Glass" I got the patterns at www.patchworkstudio.com Click on patterns on the left menu and then you will find a link for Stained Glass. :)

    I'm envisioning one of those on my wall. :D Beautiful!! Are you using single layer bias or are you using folded bias? I've never done anything like that but I've seen single layer bias sold in rolls at Fabric Depot (not cheap) & thought that would be easier but would it hold up as well? Anyway...Love your work!!
